No doubt he has a shot, look at the number of teams looking for a QB, any QB. Too many teams have this need and are looking high and low. Of all the QB's coming out this year, this is some of the things that are said about this group.

    Backup only in the NFL
    No arm strength
    Careless with the ball
    Never be a starter
    Not a good football player
    Injury problems

The words, Needs, lacks, lesser, too are used when showing a weakness in this class, these words are used all too often.

Assuming he has learned and matured (big assumption I know) it would be nice to see him perform again. When he was on there weren't any better or prettier passers.

The guy hasn't played a down in the league in years. He wasn't any good while he was in the league (yes, he did play for the Raiders), so I honestly can't see him doing much of anything in the NFL. His issues weren't his physical abilities, but his ability to read defenses, and being away from the game won't help that...but I'll still root for him

It is my opinion and the opinion of many others that this was related to his work ethic. He didn't put int effort to practice nor study.

He was criticized while at and leaving LSU for his inability to read defenses and go through progressions. Going to the Raiders and getting all that money definitely made him lazy and all that but there were issues even before. Al Davis drafted him for his big arm and they drafted all these speedsters and even got Randy Moss to fit his supposed offense of just airing it out. Definite recipe for disaster. I don't doubt he will make any teams cut, but I don't see him ever starting in the NFL.

I won't root against him for the sake of what he did for the team, but I'm sure as hell not rooting for the Bama Boy.
