1. Nah, no need to worry. Miller isn't coming here. That was all some wild ass dream from a blogger at 247.

If nothing else, Les can recruit. Never really worried about that. He may be losing a step but still getting it done.

The DC thing will fall into place. I really don't care who he hires as long as he adheres to these two things.

    1. Teach them how to tackle. The form tackle is as old as dirt and still the most effective way to stop a runner. Whatever the hell these youngsters are doing these days is pathetic. They would run A LOT of stairs if I were DC.

    2. Don't play a lot of zone. QB'S are FAR too advanced these days and will eat zone heavy defenses alive. We have the speed and talent to match up man 2 man. Do it.
Winston1 and Mis'sippi Tigah like this.
  2. The elephant in the room is still whether or not he'll be cleared to practice in spring camps. As last as November of this past fall there were still speculations he won't be ready for live action until the end of the summer: possibly limited in fall camp as well.

That doesn't bode well for a transfer in any situation.
  3. SaturdayDownSouth.com I believe were the first to publish the story.

Braxton himself has been adding as much fuel to the fire about transferring as anyone; likely more.
  4. Teaching them is one thing. Getting them to do it on a consistent basis is another.
Most are interested in the big hit that will get them 5 seconds on ESPN. 90% of the time they end up with the matador tackle.
  5. True and good points. How do you feel about the Kirby Smart reports? LOL
  6. That is where the stairs, the mountain climbers, flutter kicks come in. They will be tackling fools or they will be really really strong
  7. Or that one, one in the same basically.

Probably more smoke to throw everyone off the trail. Doesn't pass the common sense test.
  8. This is 2015, not 1975. Good luck with that philosophy. IconLOL.gif
  9. Zone is effective if you disguise it correctly, but you have to disguise it because any good quarterback will pick you apart if he knows your playing zone.
  10. Easy enough to figure out even for one of our qb's. Sending a guy in motion will usually tell you what you need to know.
