An amendment to the constitution cannot be revoked. However one can be counter acted or repealed by a follow on amendment. This has happened when the 18th amendment was passed prohibiting the manufacture of alcohol in the US. The 21st amendment repealed it a few years later. That means to overturn the 2nd amendment a brand new amendment would have to be passed through congress and ratified by 3/4 of the states. Not going to happen in our lifetime
Be interesting to see how the courts react to any upcoming cases. If you recall OBAMACARE, it suddenly became a tax when it got to the high court. The high court says they can levy taxes all they want. From what I understand, their plan is to tax ammunition, guns, gun parts and powder for reloading out of existence.
Time to buy a 3D printer with programs to print your favorite firearm. Gunpowder can be made yourself. Just look on the internet to find out how. Obtaining the cartridges and projectiles would be the biggest problem.
