You are all over the place. The 2nd amendment is not something you even entertain. Like free speech. Once you move once, it’s over. Just like Europe. There is no point to talk and entertain nonsense. Talking for the sake of talking is for marriage and that is bad enough as it is.
This question has been hanging around since the chicken or the egg. What you fail to realize is that it is a right, and a right that should not be tampered with. You may not see the need to own an XJ5200 Super Magnum and you are free to not want or DECIDE FOR YOURSELF that you do not need one. What if I do? Who are you to tell me what I can or cannot have? Vote democrat and you will get what you deserve. As I have said in another thread they want more than just guns but taking them leaves us helpless to stopping the tierny that will follow. Free speech, free press and personal property right will be next. They are after fossil fuels, your thermostat at home, what kind of car you are allowed to drive, God and religion, our borders and even the right to BBQ in your own back yard. Dont laugh just google these issues. One last thing a number of leftist politicians and acedemia are calling for the jailing and even murder of people who dont agree with their global warming scam.
@shane0911 and @LSUpride123 What don’t you understand? Every right in the Bill of Rights is limited. Do you have absolute right of freedom of speech and the press? No you don’t. Do you have an absolute right against self incrimination? Ask those in jail for lying to the FBI. Do you have absolute right against search and seizure? Not even close. We’ve never even had an absolute right to own any gun we choose. If you’re honest with yourself you’ll admit that. So do convicted felons lose their rights? As you have admitted in other posts there are means to take mentality disturbed people’s gun. Isn’t that a limit on the second amendment? Each state has different laws limiting individuals gun right don’t they? They do and none of those things are in the constitution. You can’t honestly claim your rights to anything are unlimited. ALL rights have been limited since 1789. These limits are based on the constitution and laws which are held up by the Supreme Court. If say you don’t want your 2nd amendment rights limited any more that’s reasonable in my eyes. However understand you’re in a discussion about the range of your rights. If you take an absolutist stand you’ll end up losing. You mistake what I’m saying. I’m dont necessarily argue for more gun control, certainly I’m against banning automatic weapons. I’m telling you that ignoring the facts won’t do anything but hurt your argument.

2nd amendment ensures I am not limited. What you are taking about are consequences. Please dont bring up the “fire” in a crowded room bit. You’ll get destroyed. Not sure how people confuse freedom vs laws.
