1. But we didn't agree to anything that limits our citizens gun rights. The treaty wasn't about that.
  2. Yeah... didn't disagree with your assessment of the law.. disagreed with your statement that "No other country can make legislation that a US citizen has to respect."
  3. What bothers me is that they could force ammunition manufacturers to micro stamp ammo thus driving up the cost greatly. They could also make it so you'd have to have manufacturing "permits" to add on to your firearms or other so called "permits" to carry or own them. They may not be ablse to stop you from owning but I'm afraid of policies that would drive the cost, of using or owning a firearm, up so high that it wouldn't be affordable. You want something screwed up, involve politicians. You want it fixed, limit what politicians can do.

  4. Exactly, most people don't think about how Politicians can drive the prices sky high instead of outlawing guns, just another way to do it.
  5. "They" might send elves to turn your weapons into flowers, too. :rolleye33:

But they are far-fetched notions and unfounded fears, aren't they?
  6. There is definitely a lot of scare tactics around election season, which we are heading into. The right always brings up guns rights, abortion, gay marraige and stem cell research around election time because they are hot buttons that get their voters to the polls. The left does the same with entitlements to ensure their voters get out and vote.
  7. Funny that the right takes all of their part of the entitlements.
  8. good point. ever notice that when it pertains to someone else it is called an "entitlement" but when it pertains to yourself it is "necessary?"
  9. This is the problem at its heart. Both parties are equality guilty of running up our debt, and it is because staying in office is big business funded by tax payer dollars.
  10. Amen. It is all so driven by greed and money rather than patriotism and a sense of obligation to community. It is also a frickin tragedy that both candidates will likely raise around a billion dollars for their campaigns while we are in the worst financial shape in decades. To me, this one fact is telling.
