I don't follow basketball, so don't slam me for asking this. But wasn't one of the complaints about Brady his in-ability to recruit a point guard?
this is how it worked. Brady made the map and told the assistants who to go after. and then, they went after those guys. So Butch was in charge of recruiting, but it wasn't and isn't his fault LSU has no PG. the only PG they really "missed" on that Brady has his eyes on was DJ. Brady never considered PG a big need, b/c he liked Temple there.
plus we had dj augustin til katrina ruined that wet dream so this will always remain a part of brady's legacy. no pg.
Why do you offer Alex Farrer and Ben Voogd scholarships over kids like Jelani Mitchell, Tweety Carter and Josh White?
you all can scoff and kid all you want, but Farrer has been a very good "glue-guy" on the team this year... Look at the +- stats with him in the game, and I guarantee they will indicate the team is far better when he is on the floor than when he isn't. A typical role-player. That has been one of LSU's problems as well. They have always had a plethora of stars, but have never had the players with them who did the little things to make them better. ala Farrer and G. Temple.
