You do realize that our receivers all missed the ball this weekend, partly due to them, party due to the throws. Sullivan missed one in the endzone and Gage across the middle. Don't recall if Chark had a chance or not but there may have been one that was overthrown to him. Canada not sending to WRs has more to do with Etling than it is him not utilizing them. Etling, God bless him, is not a great passer. That's the issue.
Didn't ask you to produce 50, I asked you to produce 1. I don't have to look for them; I know they don't exist. Since I have no control over who the coach is, it doesn't really matter whether I accept him or not. He's here, and I can either enjoy the successes and not let the failures drive me up the wall, or not. He's at SMU, catching 15 balls a night. Les ran him off by not using him. All true, except for your presumption that I believed in AirCanada. I did the research, and I knew all along Canada's offense is a run-based version of the spread. As for the rest, I've discussed the ineffectiveness of the line, the QB and the passing game in general in multiple posts over the past month. I'm not going to repeat myself. No, I said at the beginning of the season you were posting with somewhat of an open mind. I'm well aware of where you stood on the coaching search (that really wasn't) last year, and I really didn't have a problem with your take on the situation. But you were appearing in the live game threads for awhile at the beginning of the season, and if you weren't happy, you were at least reasonable in you critiques....for awhile. But all of a sudden, here we are with LSU on a 3-game conference win streak and TigerTap in full meltdown.
This describes where I am. I still believe Orgeron will ultimately prove to not be the right man for the job but like I've said all along, I would love to be proven wrong. Regardless, he is going to get at least 2 seasons and probably 3 to give it a shot. I'm not an Orgeron fan and will never be. I don't like that he tried to micromanage after he specifically stated that he would not and fear what will happen if/when Aranda and Canada move on but the turnaround can't be ignored. Yeah, Florida and Ole Miss are not very good but that's two conference wins on the road and that's hard to do in the SEC. Then there's Auburn, they are a pretty good football team. It's also ok to bitch and moan when things aren't going right... that's what forums are for and that's what fans do. However, when things are improving and appear to be headed in the right direction it's time to STFU and enjoy it. Improvement is something that we didn't see with Miles and we've seen actual improvement this season. This is clearly a better football team than it was 3 or 4 weeks ago. I can still root for my Tigers even though I don't agree with the head coach. Hell... I've been there since JJ replaced Lee as the starting QB in 2011.
