I give Miles credit for making it to two NCs and winning one, with an amazing regular season in 2011. Doesn’t change the difference in trajectory of LSU when he left it compared to when he arrived. I think he benefited greatly from Saban’s leavings, but he still accomplished a lot and was a great tiger. The rousing ovation he got before we beat AU points to the fact that he is still loved in BR.

Etling > <insert name of current FSU QB>? My point is the ungodly amount of money to motivate Jimbo to come here would make the O guarantee albatross look like a parakeet. I am fine with giving O the chance. The $12M guarantee was and always will be the head scratcher. It is likely as has been said, Alleva used the Herman contract but forgot to change.
