    I'm not ashamed to have been an ardent supporter of Reg while he was here, but it would be crazy not to admit that he fell short of expectations here. I'm also glad we sent him to an AFC team. Stars have a way of blossoming when they leave the Saints.

    On the other hand, Darren Sproles has out-performed Bush in every measurable category. Maybe most telling about him was the praise Brees was heaping on him today about his work ethic (they worked out alot together this off-season). When you impress #9, you've done something.

    Also looking forward to seeing Amaya. There's something about those undrafted free agents.....Sean Payton has a way of turning that chip on their shoulders into diamonds.

    Not only did he work out with him, but I heard Brees on T.V. today say he actively recruited Sproles for us. Brees said after Bush left he communicated with Sproles and tried to sell him hard on coming here. Obviously, Brees thinks very highly of Sproles. They were both in San Diego together too, but only at the very beginning of Sproles career 2005 and 2006. Sproles played in 2005, but was out all of 2006. I know Brees would probably never admit it, but I would think he may have planted a little seed with Sproles even before Bush left that it would be nice to have him as a teammate again if the opportunity presented itself. Of course this is pure speculation. I'm with you on this one MCTiger, I believe in Brees and his opinion of Sproles is a very good sign.

    Other than Reggie Bush being overpaid, I liked him as a Saint.

    As a Dolphin, after a decent first game, he’s had had two very poor games…

    >>> Today, Week Three…
    11 rushes for 24 yards
    1 pass reception for 12 yards
    Fumbled twice, lost one

    >>> Week Two…
    6 rushes for 18 yards
    1 pass reception for 3 yards
    No fumbles

    >>> Week One…
    11 rushes for 38 yards
    9 pass receptions for 56 yards
    No fumbles

    … Miami is 0 – 3 and I can't say that I miss Mr. Bush.

    They didn't have Daniel Thomas in the first game so they relied on Bush more. I was rooting for him to do well but I just can't see it.

    and i think it was game 1 they had it won. had the ball near the goal line and handed off to reggie from about the 6. had a clear path to the goal line and decided to do his sideways boogie and got crushed.

    ended up kicking a fg.

    reggie is reggie.

    and darren sproles is basically, awesome. and a huge reason the saints won today.

    sproles is everything everyone thought reggie would be.

    I heard a talking head say this morning that "Sproles is a better Reggie than Reggie."

    lets not insult darren after a glorious day. sproles has been doing this before reggie bush was in the league.

    its amazing what hype does for a player. one has produced unnoticed despite being spectacular while doing so.

    the other gets lavished for making a 4 yd run and not going out of bounds once a game.

    hype goes a long ways.

    but public enemy had it right.
