    Including post-season:

    Saints 33-23 with Reggie Bush

    Saints 9-4 without Reggie Bush.

So they win with or without him.

    Reggie Bush

Kevin Faulk has more impressive stats in his career, and three superbowl rings to boot! He is not worth 8 to 12 million.

Too bad Faulk is not as young as Reggie, I would have prefered to have the hometown boy any day to the overhyped Bush.

Here is a stat for you: We can still win without Reggie!

Well this question was asked before the season. Some said yes he is worth it and some said no he isn't. SP said yes he is without question. At this point in the season, with the team averaging 15-16 pts less/game I would have to agree with SP.

The Saints without Bush and Bell have been somewhat vanilla and scoring 15-16 pts less per game than last season. Are Bush and Bell worth 2 TD's per game? Is Bush worth the 9 mill to get those pts we are missing, that if we had we would probably not lost at least 2 of the games we have. I'd say you bet. Good thing he is coming back. Having practiced this week the Saints could probably have him back against Carolina, but will probably wait until after the bye.

Welcome back RB, you have been missed.Saintslogo

We could afford to pay him the asking/going rate if we only had to pay him for the games in which he actually plays. It's tough to use a large percentage of your salary cap on a single player...especially one who misses a lot of games.

Bush makes the offense go, and obviously not directly a good bit of the time.

His presence on the field alone creates openings the offense thrives off of. He is a tough matchup for most defenses and the attention he gets allows others to make the plays.

The Saints ARE Better WITH Reggie Bush.

The question is how much the Saints should pay him in this Salary Cap Age.

But, yes, there's no question that the Saints offense is better with Reggie Bush.
