I go to Checkers every once in awhile when visiting Lafayette, mostly because they are not in my current area. Their fries seem to be even worse for you than most, which is not a bad thing. I remember going there often as a Sr. in HS with my buddy and we'd get dollar Champ burgers while he'd bring slices of cheese and cokes from his house. Low budget grub!
