I dont think we get Lucas. Also if USC gets Keith Rivers and Thomas Herring thats like 7 or 8 five star guys. Islstl can we really finish ahead of them? I cant figure out Rivals formula for their points but I know you like to crunch #'s. Have you figured out their formula? The only person I see giving us a # 1, is Lemming (thats right Ramah). We will get 8-10 of his top 100. THe rest of the top 100's will be like 4-5. Lemming has Doucet, Carter, and Favorite in his Top 10.
I just don't see USC getting these other 5 star players....I think they will elect to go elsewhere with all the talent USC already has stockpiled. It's not like USC has the inside track on these guys. It's up in the air. I have not figured out his formula....haven't really tried....I may try to by the end of this week.
I guess LSU may end up signing Jay Lucas as well. But he won't come at the expense of possibly signing any of the players I have mentioned. He is a RB and only 29th on rivals.com in that list. He is not a high priority for us. But would still be a good signing if we have room.
Rivers is supposed to be a lock or a silent committ to USC. "Their next great #55" Rivals has Herring as High and everyone else at medium. But that isnt always right. I dont think we sign Lucas though. Saban said 2 RBs and we have 2 committed already. Hester and Watson. I think because we will be able to sign more than USC we could pass them for #1, but it will be close. Rivals will be the most favorable to them because they will get far more 5 stars than us. But if we get 5 more committments than they do it should put us over the top. Last year Rivals counted J Vincent in our class (Insiders didnt) so Washington and Johnson will be included. Thats 2 more 4 stars.
Rivals has moved Luke Sanders interest in OU to Medium. Good sign I guess. It was high a few days ago
