Well we only have 19 seniors, then we had 2 or 3 guys transfer out right before the fall so that makes 22 or so available and we have to give 2 to the non-qualifiers from last year, seems to me that we are almost full already. Anyone know anything I don't know?

Maybe Coach Saban is expecting more transfers, leaving early for NFL, maybe some may get on with TOPS or something. Dandy Don says about 27 or so, and I guess you can say he is pretty knowledgeable on recruiting

Travis Daniels was a 2-star on Rivals, and people were questioning why Saban wanted him at the time. Travis Daniels, along with Corey, are among the NCAA leaders in passes defensed.

If Nick Saban wants Hester, that's good enough for me. He certainly knows more about evaluating talent than the so-called recruiting gurus.

Don't worry about Rivals two stars, Max Emfinger has Jacob Hester listed as an Ultimate Super Seven as a fullback/H-Back, and, of course, Texas and Oklahoma plus many more also wanted him badly. Hester's numbers were down somewhat this year because of a banged up shoulder he sustained and so he was moved to receiver.

LSU is still recruiting David Holbert out of Tennessee, another highly regarded fullback, but at linebacker. Jay Lucus still wants in at LSU real bad, but his grades might not allow him to qualify.
