    I am against intra conference re-matches within the BCS. In any other sport the team that wins the most has the easiest path to the title. In the NFL teams get bye weeks and home field advantage. In the NCAA basketball tourney the best programs get higher seeds.

    Bama is essentially a wildcard team that is getting a bye week while the conference champion is playing in the wild card round. It makes no sense.

    To me it is simple. If you want to win the NC, take care of your own conference first. I would feel the same way if the roles were reversed. It flies in the face of common sense that the team that loses gets the easier road to the championship.

    I totally agree, however, that's not how it is set up now. I want to play the real no. 2.

    My one and only problem with the rematch situation, is that as of today 11-22-11, everybody is saying Bama deserves a rematch because its putting the best 2 teams in the country in that game.

    However, if LSU were to slip up, we WONT get a rematch, and all that talk of putting the "best" 2 teams in the BCS game becomes total BS and grabage

    Same here. I also said that a national championship without an SEC championship would be hollow.

    Could there be anything any better than beating them twice in a season though? Think about it, it would end all the debate. Not saying we could pull it off, but it's looking like it may happen. I say bring em on......Les will get it done, he's so in Saban's head now.
