1. Yes!

I found another one I like, using Sagarin as the source:

    USATODAY.com

    VS the top 30:

    Bama 2-1

    OKST 6-1

If every voter would look at my list of facts, I have to believe that 1/4 of them would put OKST number 2 with a win over OK. They better get the facts out, because Bama has great PR.
  2. The NYT mentions that if LSU loses to Georgia, then Alabama's strength of schedule points will take a hit.

If Georgia beats LSU, then what happens? I say LSU's body of work is almost certainly strong enough to get them into the title game regardless. But would the voters put TWO SEC non-conference winners into the NCG? How would that sit with the rest of the country? And how could Alabama go to the NCG instead of LSU, having lost the head to head? So a Georgia loss might increase the liklihood of a LSU vs Ok. St/Stanford NCG.

I hope the Tigers stomp Georgia, but its almost worth losing just to see the Alabama fans piss and moan.
  3. It's never worth lsu losing for anything. Still there would be nothing that would make me feel better than for bama fans to be crying their eyes out.
  4. Bring on whomever.

Cost of taxi ride from airport to downtown NO... $35

Cost of average hotel room downtown NO ... $250/night

Cost of ticket to the BCS national championship game ... $250+

Cost of seeing Bama fines writhe in agony by not being asked to the big dance ... priceless
  5. If, if, if. No ifs. LSU will beat Jawja, handily.
  6. that is subjective. there are other 1 loss teams that have not lost to lsu. there are possibly even some 1 loss teams that havent lost to lsu and have a better sos and/or resume.

we know bama lost to lsu. i say "Next!"
  7. I agree. But I hope the Alabama fans spend the week worrying about what a LSU loss would do to them.
