Either 8 and 3 or 9 and 2. Loads of talent and depth, I think they,ll do alright. Although I don't see a NCG next season.

I've predicted 9-2, 9-2, and 11-1 the last 3 regular seasons, so I missed by one game over the last 3 years. This year, I thought we'd lose to Fla. and beat Ky. and Arky, so my crystal ball isn't THAT good.

I'd say 9-3 for 08, with loses to Auburn, Fla., and Ga. I'm assuming the TBD is not in the Va. Tech category. Now we could beat any of these 3 teams on a good day, and we could lose to Bama or Arky instead. But, I'll go with 9-3. I feel pretty much like CParso, the offense will be hot. I think Perrilloux will be talented and hot at times, and sometimes he'll make first year starter mistakes. I like our receivers and running backs, I think Charles Scott will be power guy and Williams and Murphy the speed guys. I think Charles Scott looks the most like a possible Hester, but he needs to learn a lot about his blocking assignments in pass protection, or Ryan will be in trouble. Same really with Williams and Murphy, pass protection, catching out of the backfield are necessary skills. I like our offense.

The D line should be good, we'll miss Dorsey, but we'll survive. Jackson should come back, his season was not a launching pad to the NFL. Add K. Pittman and RJF, Drake Nevis, Favorite, get back Charles Alexander, we should be good. Linebacker and corner are big questions. Beckwith will be back (I think). Catrerra can get better with experience. Raising some young corners will cost us, I'm afraid. Taylor and Chad Jones can play safety, with Shomari Clemmens, or maybe Shomari moves to LB. We have talent, but inexperienced LB and corners, you can't project a SEC west title, IMO.

A game better or a game worse would not surprise me, depends on who our new DC is, how quickly the team learns his system, how good his system is, other coaching changes we don't know about yet, and leadership on the team, how committed they are to attaining excellence. This has not been a problem in recent years, but whose going to step up and take that role? Does the defense belong to Tyson Jackson next year, K Pittman, Beckwith? Who leads the offense, I don't know.

If we are healthy 10-2 and win the SECW. We'll finish 11-3 with the third loss coming in the SEC championship game.

I think the defense will surprise some folks. They will be faster but with less experience.

The offense will be head and shoulders better than everyone else except Florida. There is no way a healthy LSU team will lose to Auburn, Alabama or SC we will be the more talented football team in those games.

If RP learns to read defenses we could squeak out an upset of Florida or Georgia with those games coming later in the season.

If we stay healthy we will be hard to beat.

10-2. Losses at Florida and vs. Georgia

SECCG win over Georgia (Tebow will get hurt during the season)

Sugar Bowl win over West Virginia

    12-2

Perrilloux is going to be a man-child out there (maybe even a Heisman candidate) for an offense that will average 40+ points per game, but the defense will be very, very prone to give up the big play and that will cost the team a few times in the season.

LSU is going to get beat by Auburn with a green QB?

    doubt that.

I see LSU losing to Florida and Ole Miss,

Going to the SECCG and Losing to Georgia.

LSU goes 10-3, with a Bowl win.

LSU will lose at least two games(young D) we will have a great shot at winning the west

Auburn will be tough and Bama is still 2-3 years away, IMO.

I can't see us losing to anyone but Florida and Auburn and I think we can split those. The young talent should be jelling pretty good come the SECCG so I like our chances at a BCS bowl and an outside shot at the NCG. This is baring any major injuries.

    But hey...I'm an optimist.
