Plus it's not necessarily better for Vegas if LSU or Bama wins. If LSU or Bama have 100k bet on them at 12-1 or 14-1 that's worse that Okie St. at 30-1 if only 10k is bet on them.
I bet on LSU (I do every year) I got 16-1 and I bet a Benjamin. So if LSU wins I win 1600 bucks. So as you can imagine I really hope LSU wins !!!! I do it every year though (pre-season ritual) so its not that I had a premonition. Also word on the street is heavy money will be going to Bama solely on the fact and history of a team beating another twice, (LSU having to win 3 times in a row, etc) is longer odds. So if you want to bet on LSU I would wait because the line will move in your favor. I never bet on LSU (To much emotion) I often bet against them to hedge my happiness (IE LSU loses I win money, helps take the sting off) and if LSU Wins (or covers) I lose money but I look at it that I paid money to enjoy an LSU win. Stupid yes. But dont judge me !!!
I never bet money on games. Never have. My luck is too bad. The team I bet to win would lose every time.
