It is horrible when you come in to pre-season ranked number 1 or 2. We lost so much from last year. Who comes in with a non proven QB and does well? Is it the coaches fault? Some what! Mett never came into a game the year before, and got to throw? Why? The entire defensive backfield except for Reid is gone! Problem, ah yes! When you know you can leave them on an island you can blitz from everywhere. Brockers was pretty damn good! Blackwell and Herbert are gone! I predicted we would lose 3 to 4 games this year. The only problem I have had, is the lack of recruits. WR and TE. When your offense has not shown up for the last 5 years, this will happen.
Fair points except the lack of recruits. LSU has had more true freshmen play the last 2 season than any other FBS team. Look at Kwon, Debo Jones, V Alexander T Turner this year.Freak and others last year. I do agree the WR recruits have not shined.
