He was diaganosed with a terminal brain tumor the Wed. before the Alabama game in 2001 and was leading Tiger Walk on that Saturday. The doctors told him there was nothing they could do, it would be weeks not months. Knowing that it would be his last Auburn football game, he made the trip to Baton Rouge and was not treated kindly. Of course, the LSU fans had no idea that it was his last game and I don't really care because I don't judge all fans of a school by a select few. Never have...even bammers. Sorry to get off on a rant for my first post, but just thought you should know that Auburn people aren't making up stories about terminally ill people to get fired up for a football game or to piss off LSU fans. Everyone making the trip to The Plains this weekend be safe. It should be a great game. I can't wait. May the best team win and WAR EAGLE...couldn't resist.
