1. Tons. He was actively looking while still at Louisville. He left the Falcons during the season and he not only had an affair, he hired her to work in his office over more qualified candidates. Then he lied to the administration. He is a total snake

  3. There's a big difference between firing a coach and having a totally public search. Last year was a public cluster compared to searches at Gawga and Miami
  4. Yep. It sucks, because he is an offensive genius and a heck of a coach overall. Can you imagine his offensive system with our talent in couple of years?

I like the idea of going after his former QB, Brian Brohm, who is doing good things at WKU.
  5. Please do better than UGA. Please.

  6. If Herman turns us down a Briles/Aranda/Applewhite/Ogeron team would be a deadly combo

  7. From an X's and O's stand point, and only if Briles is cleared beyond a reasonable doubt for any wrong doings. Otherwise, we don't need that garbage.

  8. Every worthwhile coach in the country not already in a perfectly ideal job will be considered a candidate and will be questioned about contact and whether they have interest in the job. I fully expect all of the late local news broadcasts in Houston to bring up the possibility of Herman being courted for the job. Whether they know any real info or not. He'll be much better than Miles about shutting them down and not answering any questions about it whatsoever. Why shouldn't he? He's got a CFB playoff spot in his future this year, an invitation to the Big 12 at the end of the season, and likely another big raise and extension in his immediate future after he just got one last year.

He's who we should go after. But we need to come strong because he will get an offer from every school with a vacancy. And probably from some without one.

  9. Living in Dallas, we have been bombarded with coverage on the Baylor situation. I am less inclined to believe Briles was the main culprit in the coverup. But he clearly brought in thugs and plays the holy man routine to the max.

  10. I'm just south of you in Houston and hearing similar things All of Alumni and parents of current students say there is so much more to it.
