I smell "Bacon"...all of a sudden, He's listing LSU as medium interest in his top 3, with Gary Crowton on his tail...I feel good about Lacy coming...As he should, He's a Louisiana Boy, who needs to stay in state.

    At all? Any particular reason...
Not even for a sign in place?

    Re: Eddie Lacy

I got Lacy in between Richardson and Pratt in terms of talent as a speedy power back.

His grades are almost in line.

His coach says 50/50 he qualifies in 09, with the worst case being a greyshirt and ready to step on campus in Spring of 2010.

He is a perfect fit for LSU. Absolutely perfect.

    Lacy loves him LSU, also.

And you base this upon what exactly? His and his coaches' recent quotes about LSU have not been favorable at all.

Is this the love you are talking about?

Oh, he's feeling scorned, don't get me wrong.

But he has been LSU all the way leading up to his recruitment early on and deep down in his heart he would love to play for LSU.

Does his pride get in the way and LSU ultimately lose out? Could very well happen.

If LSU puts on a full court press, I believe he will be a commitment on Feb 4th.

LSU has to show this kid a lot of love and handle it just right.

I didn't get you wrong. You never used the word scorn. You said he loved LSU. I am pretty sure those are polar opposites on the emotional scale.

Early on he wanted an offer from LSU(what La kid doesn't?), but I never read anything about his "love of LSU". And how do you know what is deep down in his heart? This guy is not the interview machine, aka Russell Shepard. You are letting your love of LSU confuse you here, and making some wild assumptions.

This is a reasonable statement, but is a far cry from your earlier one.

We'll see what happens in these last 10 days.

    They will speak for themselves.

I just hope LSU goes after him if Richardson is a no go.
