He may not be a game changer (I think he is) but he's a game winner. He will wear down the defense over the course of a game by pounding the rock. He can make people miss in the hole and that is not common for a bigger RB. I hate to say it, but he reminds me of Chris Wells.

Excellent comparison, best I have seen so far. I wholeheartedly agree.

We'll call him the Mad Pratter.

Just read a Texas Scout article and it said Pratt body type and running style closely resembled Eddie George. Nice compliment but does anyone else see that comparison.

He reminds me more of a young Deuce McAllister. When Deuce came out of Ole Miss, he was fairly lean for his body type and the knock on him was could he be the between the tackles type guy. Over the course of his Saints career, Deuce has sadly bulked up to be just a 235-pound mauler instead of the 225-pound powerful back with deceptively shifty moves, great hands, and great speed that he was when he broke into the NFL.

I saw all of those latter qualities in Pratt. Very impressive.

Here is a video of a young Deuce that I think Dexter compares favorably to..

That is also an excellent comparison Brian.

Does anybody have a clip of Deuce at Ole Miss? Really liked the way he ran at Ole Miss he was so versatile he even lined up at WR, QB throwing TD passes to R.Miller and had 40 times in 4.3s but he was always had injuries problems with his ankles and shoulders at but cant knock his production on and off the field.

it's all nice, but can Pratt take the extreme SEC punishment and hold on to the rock when the game is on the line. good points are that he didn't fumble much last year. Ford didn't fumble at all last year :thumb:

    Gone fishin! :hihi:
