Bama used to play Au and 1 other game at Legion Field, Ole Miss use to play LSU in Jackson. They upgraded their own stadiums and realized they had to quit using the old dumps, now it's time Arkansas does too.
I watched that LSU/Arkansas game in Fayette Nam. It was cold and we sat in snow for most of the game. It's not a giant stadium.
I knew Texas put in a new one a couple years back, I just mentioned the ones I've seen in person. And yes, razorback stadium is nice, especially since its been closed in, but it really isn't that big.
As someone who has attended Arkansas games many times in Razorback stadium. I can vouch that their stadium although smaller than LSU is very nice. Now again I get to sit in a luxury box (my good friend is a child of walmart) so I admit I have a slightly skewed view of it. The Arkansas campus is very nice, Dixon street is a lot of fun, NW arkansas is some one the nicest country you will find in the south, and I can tell you 100% of the people I talk to in the Razorback family HATE playing in LR. Specially the LSU game. Matter of fact my buddy sends a letter a year to the AD to ask they move the LSU game BACK to their home campus. As for the insults, not needed. We are all Southeners and no one from any of the SEC states (Texas included) can call a different state "rednecks, etc" we are all full of them. I have been to LR twice and that stadium is a toilet. But their home stadium and campus is very very nice and it is a travesty such a big game every year is played in LR. Imagine if this years game was in Little Rock. #1 vs #3 in That sh*t box
War Memorial Stadium is THE #1 Shidhole in SEC Arkansas is trailer-trash king of the SEC :hihi: Auburn is 2nd (I'm biased here) & Starkvegas a close 3rd Having lived in Ft. Smith, AR for nine years and having been to every venue in the SEC qualifies me to make that statement
"War Memorial Stadium is THE #1 Shidhole in SEC" I dont think even Arkansas fans will argue with that one. My Razorback buddy also calls it dump.
having been born in Ft Smith, AR living here for 28 years, i can say that Arkansas is not that bad of a place to live. I lived in Virginia for 3 and i can say that Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina are by far worse than Arkansas, I will defend my state until the end, wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I can also say that most razorback fans hate War Memorial. but i am not here to change your opinion of my state, most people that live here are proud to be where we are from, if that makes me trailer trash, redneck, or a hillbilly so be it.
