I really don't give a damn whether the rest of the world calls us nazis, infidels or what. Most of the rest of the world already hates us except for when they have their grubby hands out for a loan that somehow never gets paid back. Yes, the firebombing of Dresden and the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki did kill a lot of civilians but it also shortened the war and saved a lot of allied lives.
Why are so many people worried about our popularity around the world?? Apparently we weren't real popular before we took out Afghanistan and Iraq or 9-11-01 wouldn't have happened. Why does everyone on the left want to be buddy buddy with everyone? Do they think we can be friends with terrorists? Does anybody think we can appease them?
I have a question for all the W lovers and war supporters. Just what exactly are we getting out of being there that's positive and beneficial for the U.S. and its people? Don't come here with the the crap about we're safer from the threat of terrorism. It's been proven we were never under threat from Iraqi terrorism and there's been no proof that Saddam ever supported the terrorists. We're not getting any oil benefits because the price of gas is higher than ever. There's been no discovery of WMD as claimed by W. Oh I guess that the little report a couple of weeks ago about the POTENTIAL to convert civilian plants or whatever justifies that lie, does it? Any good will we've had around the world has been destroyed and relations with the Russians have gotten cool. Now as recent events have shown, it looks as though that any possible resolution to the problem is going to be a severe escalation with the potential deaths of thousands of people. So somebody please tell me what I'm getting for my money besides the highest deficit in the history of this country and more filled body bags. And G-Man, just what or where exactly is "the place" that all these "two-bit punks" belong"? Maybe in the same "place" that blacks and indians belonged in relationship to the white man? I'm not talking about terrorists here. I'm talking about the people who resent us being in their country trying to impose our will on them under the guise of "liberating" them.
That's the part you socialists will never comprehend. You don't wait around for proof. Osama gave us proof. Bush ain't going to sit around waiting for more "proof".
No need for nukes. Conventional weapons would do the trick just as well without spreading any radiation.
Fallujah is in the Sunni triangle, so more than likely the people who killed the men and the people who desecreated the bodies were probably Sunni. Just had to correct I couldn't help it. Is there no compassion left in the world? Personally, I think that America should be the bigger man so to speak, but at the same time, you do need to punish those responsible and possibly make them an example for everyone else. I just don't understand Arabs. Being a former Muslim, I don't see where the incendary attitudes come from. I don't understand what they are fighting. It doesn't make any sense. The problems with Americans in Iraq are the same problems that plauge the whole Arab world. Scared of modernity and always think that everything America does is a Jewish conspiracy. Although the battle in Fallujah has popular support of the people, I think it is isolated to the Sunni Triangle because the Shias do not support al-Mahdi in the south.
You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.
Well I AM talking about terrorists. And if you think you can separate them from what's going on right now, then you've got your head in the sand. Do you really think that it's strictly Iraqis that are killing our people over there? As to "the place" these punks belong, well let's just say that if they provoke trouble with the big boy on the block, they'll learn just what that "place" is. This was once a great country. Too bad that there are people like you want to give it all away in the misguided belief that if we do, everybody who hated us before will suddenly fall over themselves loving us. Got news for you pal...everybody loves a pushover, but nobody respects one.
