sorry jetstorm...i went to tech for a little bit. i know LOTS of students at tech who were only at tech because they had to be. they were strictly "students" at tech...and were crazy about LSU. i have a tailgating group every week of about 26-32 people who are students at tech...if you want...i can get them to send all their signatures to you.

those "7000 tech fans" will prolly end up being less than 4000 actual "tech fans".

wanna know why tech is gay?

    they play in the wac

their crown jewl of their athletic program is womens basketball (and LSU is better now)

a cannon went off in their stands (during a game)...did lots of damage....but yet hit NO ONE

    tech is in ruston

    like i said...tech is gay

i can print you a bumper sticker if you want

oh, and i forgot to mention

last summer..instead of fertilzing their field....the groundskeepers spread weed killer over the field. that pretty much sums up tech.

eleven....You are a fu$#@*G idiot....the "Tech is gay" crap that you talk is childish and indicative of a junior high boy who just had his girlfriend stolen.

Tech is a solid progam and will bring 7500 plus to the game....your argument that the majority of tickets sold holds no water.

If this was the case, the same thing would have happened when USL and NLU came to tiger Stadium. I know many, repeat many, tech fans that could not get tickets b/c they had been sold to season ticket holders at Tech.

I grew up in NE Louisiana, my father played for Coach Aillet, and I graduated from both Tech and LSU. I know both universities probably better than anyone on this board, and believe me, Tech has the talent to hang with LSU. They do not have the coaching, but do not question the loyalty of Tech fans. Tech ahs the same knd of idiots that LSU soes, seeing things in a skewed perspective granted, but I for one am getting very very tired of hearing you bad mouth the school just b/c you have an individual grudge.

You need to learn to show the respect that any opponent in Tiger Stadium deserves, b/c if you don't one will bite you in the ass.

Tech has problems, true, and hopefuly they will be resolved if and when Bicknell is fired. Take your youthful bullshit and leave it somewhere else.

Do you mean 7500 Tech fans coming to Baton Rouge or that only 7500 Tech fans average going to a game in your 30,000 seat stadium?

I'm not posting this to dis Tech. I alway sort of pulled for them since Tech fans don't seem to have the same sort of Penis envy that USL fans do and because Terry Bradshaw is one of my favoriite all time QBs in the NFL. I think the NCAA has a requirement that a team average something like 20,000 a game to remain at the Division 1A level.

I'm a Tech fan and I wanted to tell you guys that I have watched the Georgia and Miss. State games and I think LSU has a legitimate shot at the national championship this year. I think the LSU offense is better than Miami's and LSU has the defense to shut-down Miami and Oklahoma and USC and any other upper-echelon team. This may be the best LSU team I have seen in my lifetime. I don't know how good the 1958 team was because I am too young, but I haven't seen an LSU team this good on offense and defense since the Arnsparger days, and I don't think he had a team that is this good. Good luck to LSU staying healthy and making a run at it.

Bengal B, I was saying that Tech will bring their full allotment to Tiger Stadium...unlike the three La. schools before them.
