Back to a 4-3 at that point. Only enough to do that part of the time

Therein lies part of the reason I see these reports/articles about Steele moving to a 3-4 and wonder why they assume such. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Think it's more of a personnel thing than a Kevin Steele thing. LSU has 3 defensive ends that could easily transition into 3-4 outside backers.

I agree with that and mentioned Key earlier and M Patterson before that. Also, Teuhema isn't the heaviest guy either. But I think with LSU's DT depth and the class of 2016's depth at DT, you are supposed to match the scheme to the personnel, not the other way around. IMO, LSU should stick with a 4-3 for the foreseeable future. Once again, one of the shallowest areas on the depth chart are guys listed at LBer. And moving Voorhies who seems to be around 200 there or moving DEs back there to me is not the answer. LSU is in good shape along the DL...LBers are the issue.

One caveat: If Deion Jones improves....if Lamar Louis improves, etc, that might be a different story. But so far, all they have shown me are quality backups. The only stud LBers I saw on the field last year for LSU were Beckwith and Alexander and the latter is gone. I do have hopes for Garrett.

Shit man Deion Jones has been pretty solid in the time I've seen him play, he's fast as hell and can tackle.

I wouldn't trust roster weights. I will ask around. But he was listed as 208 coming out of high school. Should be much bigger now as I would expect especially if the coaches are trying him at LB

Never said we were definitely switching but there has been talk among the staff and we could use some of our big body speed DBs to cover similar to Voohries. Don't think a switch is coming soon though.

To be honest...I can't even get in that roster mode yet. Recruiting takes a toll.

Bussey is a three-star running back from New Orleans, Louisiana.

Some of the notable quotes from the interview:

On choosing Texas A&M over Tennessee…

“Texas A&M… they pretty much run the same system we ran in high school as far as pace and spread offense.”

“I feel like it will be an easy transition as far as getting on the field early.”

“Go where you’re wanted and go where you’re needed.”

    On playing LSU…

“That’s a game we always have circled being from New Orleans”

“Thanksgiving night, we’ll be at Tiger Stadium ready to tear it up…. we’re ready to tear ‘em apart.”

    On the recruiting process…

“It’s been stressful for me and my family”

“I wish it was over a year ago”

“I found my home and I’m ready to compete”

The Aggies picked up a powerful running back:
