5/6 out of 10 is average to slightly above average. He didn't have a great game. How is this "crapping on our players" to you?
I'm not going to bash any amateur student athletes. I'll assign blame to the millionaires walking the sidelines that scouted, recruited, taught and directed them.
It's not like the coaches put implants in the players heads and control them while they are on the field. The coaches have a lot of responsibility for getting their players ready to play at the highest level they can... but then you let your player go out there and make plays. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. That's how it works. Ask any coach.
I'm actually undefeated as a coach and have blown out a good bit of my opponents. Have you ever coached?
