It should be an issue, but it isn't, but then aain it is. Because the neo-left is so desparate to find something that indicates they are truly "libertarian" or "pro-individual" about SOMETHING that they have latched onto the abortion issue as their big issue. (You see that with the nonsense about the "right" thinking of women as a slab of meat, its' like they are auditioning for a spot on "Crossfire", etc. where both sides yell constantly the most outrageous lines they can to entertain) Now when it comes to gun ownership, freedom of association, freedom of speech (speech codes), freedom of contract, they suddenly drop the "choice" charade.
Thank God that Louisiana is a state where I still have the freedom to associate with my friends Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson, Mr. Browning, Mr. Glock and Mr. Winchester. They are all my permanent house guests along with Mr. Colt and Mr. Remington
LOL - it's the left banning the books from libraries, from schools. It's the left that tries to get movies censored and banned. The patriot act was an invention of the left.
What was the vote on the patriot act? I'll help. It was 98-1. Heil Bipartisanship! Who censors movies? I'll help. its censored through "focus" groups like GLAAD, but that doesn't bother the left, huh? Where can I pick up a copy of "Song of the South"? Who removed that from the shelves? That right-wing stalwart Mike Esiner's Disney? You or I can cheerfully attend any local political gathering, be it a school board of city council who indirectly or directly runs any public library and voice our opinions. But you would take that direct voice away and pass it off to an unelected group of government Kings and Queens. The more power to the federal government, the better for the Far-Left.
Who's trying to get movies censored JD? Last I heard, it was left-wing groups lobbying theater chains not to show Mel Gibson's upcoming flick "The Passion of Christ." And you'd be surprised at how many Democrats in rural school districts go right along with book burnings. All politics is local you know, and obscenity is a local "community standards" issue. Whatever that means.
Re: What was the vote on the patriot act? Just try to buy or rent the old episodes of Amos and Andy. They still show reruns of Sanford and Son and Fred Sanford was an updated version of the Kingfish.
Damn you! Damn you! How shall we select judges??? If we don't have the abortion issue as you accurately, but no doubt in a stumbling manner!, note then how in the hell are we going to pick judges? And, what will the ones we have adjudicate if there is no abortion issue, since 96.2% of all federal cases involve the issue of abortion?
Another damn lie! I said 81.6% of the case involved African abortions! The Christian issue is very minor, it simply is a matter of whether the wall that is mentioned prominently in the Constitution is constructed of fiberglass or all-wood products or other materials. With the asbestos issue, we've moved away from some of the older more health-threatening models and have moved to a more solid oak wall, with exceptions for public transportation to take young JD to and from his catholic high school. A fact that McDonough 35 graduate Sir Biggles and O.P Walker graduate myself will NEVER forget!
facts to realize: 1. there is no reason to believe in god, or that if there is he cares about us or baby killing. 2. human life has no inherent value; there is no soul or afterlife. 3. you can kill unwanted babies all you want and there is no reason to be unhappy. if you dont accept these facts then you are irrational. other points: pro choicers are liars, life begins at conception. abortion is obviously murder. (murder isnt always bad) pro lifers mistakenly assume it matters that babies are killed, it doesnt. they are aborted all the time, it affects nothing. the end.
