    but doesn’t get the money or glory of the higher profile jobs.
    Hell he can probably walk across campus on gameday and not even be recognized by most of the student body.

    Did Stallings get fired? He won the natty and was one of Bryant's original Junction Boys at A&M. I thought he retired.

    By the way The Junction Boys was a pretty good movie. Tom Berenger played Bryant and all the other actors were Australia but yheir Texas accents sounded real.

    I googled it. Stallings resigned after winning 10 games and a bowl after the 1996 season.

    that’s why i used the phrase “chased out” instead of “run off”.

    stallings resigned because of a clash with the athletic director, not the fans. he is still probably the second most popular person in the state
