He hasn't been impressive yet, but that doesn't mean he won't be a good QB. He was highly recruited & did an excellent job in his limited roll last year. And if you aren't convinced he'll start, you must not know anything about the other QBs on the roster.
You're right! I DO NOT know anything about Florida's other QB's. BUT..........I must say you WERE the NATIONAL CHAMPION last year and you EARNED it. You guys were the S**T. Of course,,,,,,,I wonder how it would have played out if the LSU/FL game had of been played in Tiger Stadium. But hey, that's the breaks. You guys were awesome, and that's putting it mildly. Especially when you put the spanking on the state of Ohio. They weren't even close to the caliber of teams you played in the SEC to get to that NC game. My hat's off to you. Also, I must say our only loss was to your team. We beat Auburn, but the ref's had another agenda. Nice to know it took the National Championship team to beat us. Their is not a whole lot of evidence to support the fact that Tim Tebow will not be good. He is very talented. Shula wanted him as a drop back passer and Urban wanted him to run. He can do it all...and is huge.
He may be a good QB. But that don't mean they won't miss Senior leadership and a game manager. They will have more "L's" than you think. We too have QB's who were highly recruited...but don't know how good they are yet. Tebow's limited role you talk about was almost like a gimmick. I can see you bought already.
Tebow was definately used as a gimmick last year, but im still scared of what he could possibly do this year. Hes definately an athlete, we already know that, but if he can add a pasing game to that, im really scared. Flynn is great running the ball too, hope that he is better than tebow. no way to tell until the games have begun. cant wait.
