    You really only need to see Conclusion I.

    Overstated judgments may be an error, but judgments not supported by the evidence are something else entirely. Somebody lied.

    An intelligence report not based on intelligence reporting is a lie.

    They passed lies up the chain.

    Re: Random thoughtst have no

    You are reading into this what you want to but haven't cited any sources to back up your conclusions. Who is it on this forum that always demands links to sources for back up? Hmmmmmm?

    Anyway, the problems should be attributed to the Clinton Administration for castrating the CIA.

    You always complain when people blame Bush for problems, and you're still trying to hang this on Clinton? :huh:

    Exactly. I gave the source, which is the most exhaustive examination of the evidence regarding the phony "Bush lied" mantra. Besides, if there was any way whatsoever to tie Bush to falsifying the evidence the Democrats would have been all over it and rightly so. In the end all the Dems on that committee agreed it was a huge intelligence blunder, not deliberate lies or manipulation. Pretty straight forward and both parties agreed to it.

    Random Thought:

    Let me see if I got this right. The government should be less intrusive and get out of our way. Not limit our freedoms and stay out of our business.
    Unless, it involves "national security programs" like warantless wiretaping, Patriot Act, secret programs, telecommunications immunity, etc.....

    ok I got it now!

    OK, I see you're from Brusly, so I'll try and explain in simple terms. I complain about Bush bashing when it's got nothing to do with the subject at hand. In this instance, the Clinton reference was perfectly applicable.

    Obama supporters always have, and will continue to use Bush as a diversionary tactic. They are very good at sleight of hand, but I'm not fooled and will point it out to those of you who are...well...not as smart as I am.

    :confused::confused: Isn't that what I just said?

    You're the one who's trying to paint me as a hypocrite. Whether you bring up Bush is not and never was an issue here? You jumped into the thread thinking you had an "AH HA!" moment.
