Well, technically they are not raising the price for the channels which is what they explicitly claimed to the FCC during the merger. So according to them, they are not violating the agreement. The one thing i have heard is that the internet feed will broadcast every sirius/xm channel not just select ones starting on March11, so maybe this is another justification they will use. I personally thing it is BS. But I have heard them start to float this defense. What i would recommend is this, Call and threaten to cancel. Their usual response to cancellation calls is to offer you several free months. I have also heard from someone that called to cancel that the customer service rep claims number of cancellation calls due to this issue is "frightening." Or just re-up for a year before the March 11 deadline. I am quite annoyed by this change, but i guess i will have to suck it up. It is so much better than normal radio.
