I think the wrong foreigner got the boot. Some of those 20minute challenges have to be BS. There is no way you make a good gumbo from scratch in 20 minutes.
Even though I like Fabio better the other Euro has won like 10 challenges and only messed up on one dish while Fabio missed on a dish and his drink. Maybe the judges did not know what a good gumbo was before getting help from Emeril.

Exactly. That was my point. Like calling a dolphin a Mahi Mahi doesn't conjure up images of Flipper (and, yes, I know Flipper was a porpoise).
sorry for stating the obvious about the toothfish but i was uneducated that mahi mahi was that dolphin-fish. cool. i like the dolphin chunks in my tuna already. though mahi mahi is overrated.
