well, there is also the advantage that i live in queens and not too far from JFK which of course is a huge international hub. my flight to germany and back from russia is 600. and poland is very cheap, and i am taking the train there from berlin, which is also cheap. the total price of my berlin poland st petersburg trip is 1377$
you dont have to edit out calling me a trust fund kid. its not exactly correct. i am just very smart with money and i dont need things like other people do. and i am a loser that has no wife and kids so that makes for hella freedom.
While in Berlin, go to the Mon Cheri and of course, you will thank me later. For train travel, get a Europass. Much cheaper than paying for separate destinations plus, I believe you can still use it for the inter city busses as well. Berlin is a tremendously fun city to visit. I have never been to Poland but I hear it is beautiful. All I know is there is a train that comes in on Mondays that is full of nothing but prostitutes, square biz...

Random Fact: in Utah and Colorado, Oregon and I think Washington state, it is illegal for a person to collect rainwater, even on your own property. Never knew about this until a few minutes ago.
