I only wish he felt the same way. After he was mentioned in this thread, I started watching his show again for the 50th time via Netflix stream and it never gets old. Still as funny as the first time I saw it.

I know some of the best characters were mentioned earlier in the thread, but one that is not as popular but equally as funny (to me) is Calvin, the brutha that worked at 'WacArnolds'. He thinks he's cool because he's got a job, so he starts hitting on the women on the corner and they tell him 'bitch, you smell like french fries'.

that is a great skit and the irony of it is even better. McDonalds pretty much killing the black neighborhood, but the commercial celebrates an inner city kid with a job there.

Oprah and friends drove Dave insane by guilting him a bout his use of language. Oprah is a miserable cunt. And the weird thing is I have lots of friends with wives that worship her. How could my friends marry those stupid cunts.

Also chappelle and Kurt cobain may be the only honest people in the entertainment business during my lifetime. They were not assholes that crave celebrity, they hate celebrity, as any sane person should. Also when Dave says he doesn't care about money, he is one of the very few people who isn't lying.

That sounds amazing. Not to pry, but how do you afford all of that?

The plane tickets to different continents, hotels, food, Jameson whiskey, time off of work. Seems expensive?

money has never really been something i worry about. also of note, the total cost of all of these trips is less than 3000 dollars.

you can get a lot of value out of those credit cards that give 50 thousand miles for signing up. in fact the venezuela ticket is off-peak FF miles, i paid nothing but taxes.

also american tourists are cold-averse. i am not, and i dont mind europe in early march.

Enough time has passed now. The 2 sides should come together and see if there's anything that can be done to resurrect the show in some capacity. Probably not because like martin said, he doesn't care about money; especially now that he's earned enough to last him 2 lifetimes. Not only that, but since the show ended, I'm sure someone has tried to coax him into coming back. Sucks for his fans, but good for him for not bowing to the pressure and living life on his terms.
