Rand has to associate with these RINOs . The system is so rigged for 2 parties.

He has a simple and actual intellectual thought to all of his beliefs. Hardly the case for 99% of these other political cronies.

He is definitely the only sane person in the Republican Party.

I don't think you know much about Rand Paul. He differs from the mainstream of the party on several important issues such as monetary policy, discretionary spending, entitlement reform, defense spending, tax reform, and drug policy.

But he's exactly with them on most issues.

So are most Democrats. The parties vote together in the vast majority of cases. If you look at all the votes of any Congressman (R or D) you will find that they have "voted with Barack Obama" at some percentage in excess of 90%. What makes Rand so remarkably different is that he is not with the political mainstream on the actually impactful issues.

Most of the bills that come before Congress are just mundane things that everybody agrees that are necessary for the business of running the country and are in no way controversial. If you dig deep enough you could probably find enough to accuse David Vitter or any other Republican of "being Obama's stooge." Its all about the professional spin masters.

Cruz will make Rand look more like a true moderate. (Even though he mostly is the R has a stigma )

    Shaping up nicely.

Saw him last night and he said increases would have to be paid for with cuts elsewhere. Nothing wrong with that.
