In the 4th quarter of 2007, Ron Paul has raised 18.151 million dollars as of 0516a Monday 12/17/2007, with the total number of donors in this quarter at 204,002. Ron Paul broke his online record on Sunday 12/16/2007 with over 6 million dollars from just under 60,000 donors, with an average donation around $50. Paul broke the record of John Kerry's 5.7 million dollar day during the election of 2004, and approached the highest one day record of 6.2 million held by Hillary Clinton during this presidential cycle (not yet verified - 6.2 million was reported by Clinton's campaign and won't be verified until the end of the quarter). Paul's record was achieved without the support of many large donors, which makes his surge even more impressive.
