A few years ago we were playing in a Regional Tourn. in Chalmette, La. The afternoon games were rained out so I told one of the parents to hop in the car with me, we were going to get something to drink (We'd cook for the parents at the hotel but that night, we'd have an early start and a lot of time). Well, we get to the alcohol and I grab a twelve pack of bud light and he grabs a fifth of Crown Royal. I said, "CROWN, only the rich white people drink that." He answered, "In the hood, it's ALL WE DRINK." :lol: Oh, he was obviously a brother. You racist bastards assumed it was a white parent eh?? :wave:
I wouldnt call it sophistication, im a finance person, so thats what many of us drink. I have a pretty nice wine collection at home as well. Back in the day, i use to drink Crown like it was going out of style. Also, cognac and vodka, which I still drink.
skol? as a teenager, we would go to a nearby gas station, and give this old black feller a $10 bill, and ask him to get us some vodka. Off of that 10, he'd get us a bottle, himself a bottle, and pick himself up a couple of cigars.:hihi:
skol isnt even vodka, its distilled toilet water. I drink Skevda, Grey Goose, and some others. lol, and he probably still had the 10$ in his pocket.
