BCS Imagine how happy we would be if there was just a playoff system with the BCS bowls, where every team that makes it to the BCS would at least have an opportunity to win the NC. It is completely absurd that we don't AT LEAST have that.
Re: BCS Or keep the BCS bowls in place where instead of 1 vs 2, you have 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, and 4 vs 5. with the winners of the Sugar, Orange, Fiesta and Rose Bowl go to a 4-team playoff.
To hell with Texas. If LSU dosen't get the Sugar Bowl I would rather see the Tigers play a team with one loss or a team that was ranked higher than LSU. If the remaining one loss teams and OU all win out the BCS will screw both LSU and Ohio State so if that happens I would rather see LSU play the Buckeyes in the Rose Bowl.
IF that happened (Loooong way to go) LSU would certainly have a beef. Very few people are comfortable with having the title game game determined by having played a couple of teams that were better than those some other team played. Like I said, this could be the year that the BCS starts to die.
I don't think there will be a team left higher than LSU after the the top 2 are picked for the SUGAR. The only way to play a team ranked higher than us will be to get into the Sugar with the Sooners.
