No way Miami was ranked #1 at any point last year.

Auburn and Georgia also never sniffed #1.

Alabama was #1 all through the entire season before losing to Auburn. Clemson held the #1 ranking before Alabama won the championship.

I thought both Georgia and Bama were #1 when Auburn beat them last year. I might be wrong, I can look it up.

Put me on the side of who cares. It wins you nothing. Auburn and Miami are nowhere near top 10 teams. They were severely overrated when we beat them. That doesn't mean they weren't good wins at the time, but to keep harping on who we beat, it's like you are trying to convince yourself. If we lose to Bama, we are out and no amount of "look who we beat" is gonna help us with anything meaningful.

This comes from years of arguing for a spot in the BCS or the MNC of the past, which is no longer relevant. We have a playoff now. If you win the SEC, you are gonna be in. If you don't and you only have one loss, you have a shot to sneak in, but no guarantees. If you have two losses, you are probably out.
