The Allen Outlet Mall is about 15 minutes from my house. I haven't been there in a long time because the way the parking lot is set up, it is conjested and not a quick in and out by any means.

But I have been there many times. When my girls were little, I always took them back-to-school shopping there.

Two of my high school senior's friends had left the mall 45 minutes before the shooting. This one hit very close to home...literally.
