He'll have a tough time finding a Cajun restaurant in SD. Even if he finds one it probably won't be very good. If he wants good Cajun cooking he had better learn to cook it himself.
Actually there's a great Cajun restaurant in San Diego called Bud's Food Shoppe. Authentic Cajun food by a transplanted Cajun. Check out the menu on his website: http://www.budsfoodshoppe.com/ The guy even ships in Abita Beer. The only place around I've been to that tastes like home.
Funny, "Poboys (aka sandwiches)", wonder how many times he had to explain that one before he put it on the menu. Bet he's importing the tasso and andouille as well... How come no sauce picante or ponce de cochon? Prices not as bad as I feared for SD, have to keep this in mind if I ever end up there... Later, Fur
He seems like he'll be a nice, complimentary receiver but I didn't quite understand this pick by the Chargers. I thought the Chargers had more pressing needs at safety, and would have picked up a safey with their first pick. Or, switch Quentin Jammer from corner to safety, and then draft a corner. And, wasn't this pick considered something of a reach, where everybody had expected him to go to the second round? Couldn't the Chargers have traded down their pick, and still drafted him? I would have rated Dwayne Jarrett higher, and might have picked Jarrett instead at that spot.
The Chargers feel he can be a #1 WR. The Chargers needed a WR, and were going to take one with their pick. Davis was the one they had highest on their board at the time, and in fact, he was so much higher that they didn't want to risk trading down & losing him. He was projected as an early second round pick. As for Jarrett, there is a lot of concern about not only his speed, but whether he is the product of a system.
While this is a lucid, valid statement and would normally warrant further discussion, the fact that it comes from you means it's only intention is to demean LSU athletes, so it should be disregarded altogether.
