I've been going to NO since the age of 17. Never had a problem getting into anywhere or anything... however, at 17 i was 6'3" and 275...that being said... if she wants something to drink they dont card at the drinking establishments that are open to the strip and just serve drinks to go then there should be NO problem!
Just walk up to the outside bar at Tropical Isle and get her a hand gernade or 2 and she will be good to go.:thumb:
She's only 245. Kidding! I'm sure she will be fine based on what you all said. I'm guessing she looks plenty old, and will be there with three of us who are 25-27. Thanks for the help. She will appreciate the assist from the Tiger fans in helping to convince me to let her tag along.
Welcome to the board :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:
please explain to lil sis what the mardi gras beads mean.. thanks.. lol.. she will have a blast.. just be sure to keep all your stuff in your front pockets with a money clip or wallet type thing... I keep my right hand in my pocket that has my money/id... Tell her not to bring her purse, to keep her stuff in her front pocket or let you hold it.. there will be a lot of pick pockets out unfortunately... It will be a blast and just to de-virginize ya.. "TIGER BAIT"!!!! so sweet, i got my first buckeye!
I suspect the bars will be so crowed that it will be a virtual impossibility to check everyone. But the streets are just an extention of the bars anyway. So if push comes to shove, go buy her a drink and bring it out to her.
Reminder - Louisiana invented the "drive in" daquari bars. Open container walking out of the bars is a norm with a plastic cup Go to Pat Obriens and get a couple of hurricanes or a blue satellite enjoy the piano bar then get some drinks to go before you go back out to the street your sis will have no problems Make sure you go to Cafe Dumond for beignets and coffee to get the dog off your back in the morning
