A terrorist is a terroist right? No?

Are we going to start ranking terrorist we catch now? 1-10
10 being a really bad terrorist who could fly a plane into the WTC
1 being not such a bad terrorist. (Kind of like the Chinese terrorist we could not find a home for anywhere in the world except a paradise island we had to pay $200 million to take.)

I do not know what you do with these guys. They are enemy combatants. This war is going to go on for a long time. But I would think someone smart enough to lead us would be smart enough not to make stupid campaign promises he knows nothing about. Poor leadership skills again.

 

because they are muslim extremists. they dont want freedom to establish a new america with freedoms and such. they want the freedom to establish a muslim crazyland that beats women to death and harvests children for killing infidels around the world.

Think about this too. Do we all agree that being "acquitted" isnt the same as being found "innocent"? I think most would agree with that statement. For example, terrorist goes on trial in US with stiffer normal law prevailing. Terrorist is acquitted, where does he go? Damn good chance a lawyer gets him some sort of status to remain here.

Nobody can justify the risks with such a slippery slope when the answer is proper military trials at Gitmo with the accused having habeas corpus. The Bush administration had it wrong by denying due process and indefinitely holding suspects but they had it right to keep these scum at Gitmo and prosecute there. Obama has it wrong to close Gitmo and prosecute here.

 

so you think that everyone that is in gitmo is a muslim extremist. and i guess everyone in the middle east is a muslim extremist too aren't they. they don't have a right to be pissed off that another country is invading theirs? I know i would be pissed. its none of our damn business what they do over there, if they want to bring up a bunch of people to kill each other, fine by me. my tax dollars are going to rebuild a **** hole thats just going to come down in a few months anyway. Those people have been feuding for centuries, and nothing we do is going to change that.

 

why else would they have been at terrorist training camps or wherever else they were arrested?

if i lived under saddam or the taliban, i would love to see the american troops arriving. but i like freedom. perhaps you love the taliban or saddam and would be pissed to be freed. freedom isnt for everyone i guess.

my point was, doesn't anyone think that maybe alot of the people who are in gitmo, or starting **** over there, is because their country was invaded by foreigners? I agree there are some bad guys over there, but there are alot of bad guys in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Jordan, Syria, hell Ireland even, China, and you don't see us invading them do you. War in Iraq was waged for 1 of 2 reasons, and maybe both, Oil and Vengeance.

 

me don't be stupid? you think everyone that was arrested over there was taken straight off the monkey bars with AK-47 stockpiled in a cave do ya. Civilians were taken, lots of them, innocent people who did nothing were taken. I know i would love to see American troops come to my neighborhood after they sent in a couple of smart bombs that killed my whole family, wooohooo go freedom.

would you rather live under the taliban or have americans free you country? do you know what the taliban is? you would rather live under the taliban than be freed by americans? perhaps you should read up on what the taliban is.
