Sure, they will come out on all cylinders on how they whip up on UK. Keep in mind, UK is down due to probation and recruiting violations in the past. We are slowly, and I mean, slowly getting out of the whole mess Dumme and Claude got us in. Sure, they can claim they have owned the Wildcats, but they DO PLAY in a weak conference. When they do play stiff competition, their defense is lit up like a Christmas tree. Tiger fans, you would be clueless if you had to deal with Petrino and Pitino everyday. Sorry LSU fans. Youre right. Sour grapes about Petreno, and I let my emotions take over everything I stand for. LSU is the bigger better richer job and BP might be the right one to replace Saban. He has a great offensive mind. I for one take my hat off to you and thank God that im not a uk fan.
I can't tell if that was sarcasm or not. Fans of ALL schools need to realize that we are just that: Fans. Most of us have followed our teams for a lifetime Coaches are employees. They don't have the emotional investment in the school that we do. Coaching is an inherently nomadic position. You start out at the bottom and you move up. The more successful ones move up and away. It's kind of like the broadcast industry. New York is the holy grail. If you get a job at a station in Iowa City, for example, and you're good, you will move to Des Moines, then to, say, Indianapolis, then to Chicago but always with an eye toward the Big Apple. In a sense, all high school and college coaching jobs are just stepping stones. It's nothing personal. It's just the way it is.
Sincere as I can be. Serious about the last phrase more than I can express with words. I wish that my hometown would wake up and learn that football is king and bb is the jester. I hate it more each year. Tailgaiting, football, pretty woman, a winning program. Life cant get much better than that. Hats off to you.
