Are you ordering spicy or mild? Popeye's mild.....nothing special. Popeye's spicy.....best chicken on the planet. But its also my experience that Popeye's outside of Louisiana doesn't taste the same as in-state.

The one here in MC can screw up an order with the best of them. I never go through the drive up because I want to watch them prepare my order. The worst is specifying spicy and they give you mild. To me, that's as bad as giving my fries when I ordered red beans.

Oh, and I went tonight, and there was a sign on the door saying that due to the high demand for the chicken sandwich, it was only available at lunch time.

Somehow I missed it at the time it was active. Great thread and I have nothing better to do on a boring rainy Sunday.

Truer words have never been spoken.

Maybe, but I live in MS and work in LA, so I eat at Popeyes in both states. For the most part, it tastes delicious to me at either location. That said, I only eat it at 2 stores, one by my office and one by my house. It may be different if I ate it somewhere else in MS.

I've had Popeye's in Dallas, Atlanta, Baltimore and Philadelphia. All the same to me. I always get the spicy.

I get it, but some of the folks you're replying to haven't been here in years. Unless they lurk, I doubt they'll see them.
That said, I really wish folks like martin and red would return. I thought red was just taking a hiatus but I guess he realizes there's nothing here for him anymore. And martin - I think he left for a really odd reason

That's good to know. I've seen that name, but didn't realize it was him. He should have kept 'martin'.

    thats not correct.

if we go into it again, kyle might start speculating about my personal life and personally insulting me again (which is fine) until i do it back to him and get banned (which is also fine).
