I had a meatball poboy at Pocarello's a few weeks ago. Was waited on by an old Italian man in his 70's.
of course. independent restaurants are always better if they are old or foreign. not some doofus american who quit his job in finance to experiment with asian fusion or small-batch organic fair trade hand crafted coffee
Since you live downtown do you ever go to Poboy Lloyd's? I use to eat there a long time ago and it was good. Another independent foreign owned place is Riverside Patty. I think the downtown location closed but the one on Cloverland is still open. Half pound burger is very good. I think it's probably more than a half pound. When I get it I don't order fries because the burger is so filling.
I read a review of the Glock in Guns and Ammo. Guy never cleaned it but he fired over 17,000 rounds and it never jammed. Still, I clean mine regularly.
My mother was a big believer in vitamins so I took a lot of them growing up including large doses of vitamin C. Other than an occasional cold and a couple of bad cases of flu over the years I have never been plagued with a chronic illness.
Triple crown is most definitely harder. Requires a very good hitter maintaining season long consistency in 3 statistical categories over 6 month period. The pitcher of a perfect game is not necessarily a great pitcher. Just has that one magical day when he has his best stuff and the opposing hitters all have an off day.
i agree with supafan, but the problem is that baton rouge is a goddamn oven and a coat make me so sweaty as to to be shamefully soaked. i have a nice light linen coat that looks great but even that thing that is super breathable is too hot. baton rouge is really just too hot for humans to exist for half the year. if you live in a normal place you can look handsome in a blazer all the time. in baton rouge there is almost no choice but to look sloppy
