Great point, and I think it's because they are all crabasses. I'm always friendly to folks who at least try to smile and don't have a "someone broke it off in my ass" attitude
They would probably be more well liked if they weren't straight up fuck faces with attitudes. Add in the random secondary pat downs where you're fondled like a middle schooler on a field trip to Penn State in the Sandusky days, and I'd say the dislike for them is justified.
Another benefit of being retired & no longer having to travel is no longer having to deal with those assholes.
I'm a private pilot and rarely fly commercial anymore. I don't really go any further than 500 nm and my travel time is typically quicker than the average traveler when you figure the time to drive to a commercial airport, arrive early, board, takeoff and land, typically much further from your destination than I can fly, etc. Bonus is I don't have to deal with TSA.
