I don't think it's against the law to ASK for a higher price. It's not concidered breaking the law until the transaction has already been completed(money/tickets completely swapped). Usually if scalpers suspect the person they are selling to is an undercover police officer, then he can just say that the tickets are no longer for sale before breaking any laws.

    You guys are idiots.

The people buying cheap onesie-twosie tickets are those that were tailgating with buddies anyway. You won't find middle class families driving to the stadium from Shenandoah thinking that they can get 4-5 tickets - SEATED TOGETHER - to buy outside of the stadium. It's just not practical for a man to pack his kids and wife in the car for a 45-minute drive and a 30 minute walk from boondocks parking to the stadium on the off chance that they MIGHT get tickets.

Anyone who's wife has a "sensible" personality knows what I'm talking about.

It's not illegal to buy over face value, only to sell them over face value.
Last year, for the Bama game, we had a hard time selling 2 tix in the SEndzone for face value!!

I purchased student tickets but need to defer my tuition payments. Would I still be eligible to recieve my student tickets even though my fees wouldn't necessarily be paid in full?

    Help would be appreciated.:)

Out of the seven home games, that family of 4 from Shenandoah can make the 12 minute trip out to lsu for 4 of the 7 home games pretty easily excluding any stadium expansion.

    North Texas-Easy ticket
ASU-somewhat easy ticket, but should get four
Appalachian State -are you kidding me
    Ark-Day after Thanksgiving-easy ticket

Seems like that family of four from Shenandoah can go to over 50% of the games and pay below market value.

Can I get some clarification...the above image shows the southern end of the WU sections (The first few rows) are a $200/year per seat donation. That's about 29$ per game, plus face value. Is that still accurate with the new construction? Also, what is face value for those first few row seats? I'm trying to get a handle on the cost of different sections, thx.

According to the picture you posted, are you telling me that I could "donate" $200.00 to the TAF and pay $704.00 for two season tickets and sit in that purple high section of the new addition? If so, are all those tickets sold already? I'm debating trying this or just going to buy tickets outside. I guess I'm one of those people you don't like. If I am trying to buy tickets outside, I ask where they are located. If I'm interested in the tickets, I then ask how much you are asking for them. If you are goofy enought to say ten dollars, then I am goofy enough to pay ten dollars. If you say face value, I pay that. Unless they really suck..... I never pay scalpers prices nor do I try to bargain you down. I NEVER buy tickets outside from someone who tells you these tickets are player tickets. You sit in metal "church" chairs on the track. All you can see is yeller britches. Due to the crown of the field, you can't see the other team. If any of my friends on this forum ever have 2/4 tickets they want to sell, please pm me. I fully understand if you prefer to sell to a diehard LSU fan. You should. Try to pm me one/two weeks prior to the game so I can see if my grandaughters can make it. I will pay for them by US Postal Service money orders. Thanks.

I understand what y'all are saying about the so-called middle class family and Deek the reason you go to the stadium on the off chance that you JUST MIGHT get tickets is what being a REAL FAN is about! God the only thing I hate more then "Fairweather Fans" is the FAIRWEATHER FRIST GAME TAILGATERS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bud you remember from last year about that one.

And just a little side note to all of you season ticket holders trying to sell tickets before the game.

I WILL BE HAPPY TO BUY THEM AT FACE VALUE FROM YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just give me a days notice since it takes 10 hours to get to Baton Rouge but if I knew I had tickets I would be there for ever game.
