What does that have to do with seating priority? If anything it would lead one to believe tickets will become even more difficult to get. That supply\demand thing seems to work every time.

LES you confused all of us with these random posts. Red never said he knew it all and he will be the first to tell you that.

Sure great things have occured for the LSU program but way off topic.

    Back on topic.

We need to address the problem last year with all the student ticket holder no shows so other willing fans can enjoy the atmosphere of Tiger Stadium.

I talked to you like a haughty newbie, because you were lecturing to us like we were responsible for your problems with the way LSU handles tickets and you were going to show us. By-the-way, the hi-hi face is what we use when we're being cynical, so don't get your panties in a wad. You were being teased because you were a new guy talking like a big shot. Nobody thinks you're a simpleton, and you may be very relevant in your world, just not on an anonymous forum.

I don't think I know it all--you don't see me making "promises" that "all wrongs will be righted". Maybe you are actually Skip Bertman . . . or maybe you're just another Auburn poser trying to mess with us. See what I'm getting at?

You may be impressed with what you think you know, but you haven't earned a reputation here yet, amigo. We get lots of guests who try to tell us how things are, but we are all anonymous characters here and bragging on what one "knows" is kind of lame.

Here's a prime example of how little you know about Tigerforums. If you had been around for more than a few weeks you'd know that I'm one of Les Miles biggest defenders here. I'm a major fan. You have a chip on your shoulder about ticket prices, that's fine. You like Les Miles, that's fine, too.

But don't expect us to be impressed with your "promises" that "all wrongs will be righted". Not just yet. Perhaps, you could tell us something we don't know that turns out to be correct. That might establish true credibility. Don't take it personally, LESisMORE, but we just don't know you yet.

I was unaware that the number of posts dictated your knowledge on certain subjects. I was unaware that this was the type of msg board that required a reputation to be in the know when talking of certain aspects of athletics and academics. I see a lot of bashing each other on this forum. I have also heard from other SEC schools that we have been known to bash each other when we all have the same goal in mind. I see a lot of text being changed and topics being moved(I realize sometimes you don't want 2 topics). You said I was anonymous. So I could be just some perceived nobody, right? You mentioned that I could be an Auburn fan? After reviewing my post I am still in confusion as to how that could have been taken. Also, I have no intent on gaining an anonymous reputation on an LSU Football Message Board. I don't expect you to be impressed with anything I have to say. I could care less. If you think I am talking without knowledge, I can't help that. If you never responded to me it would not change anything. You mentioned that I had a chip on my shoulder. I don't really care for only myself. It's the mission that is at hand to make it more equal for all football fans. And then lastly, bhelmLSU...

"We need to address the problem last year with all the student ticket holder no shows so other willing fans can enjoy the atmosphere of Tiger Stadium."

LSU Students had no control over the matter. LSU (the school side) implemented an awful system for student tickets.Students were given paper tickets. Atrocity. The ticket exchange was so hard to deal with that students were SO frustrated with the matter that when there were games where we KNEW we would win, students would not attend them. If you would get in the know with the student body you might understand a little more. That is the #1 agenda for LSU's Student Government I do know that much. Students are outraged that LSU has taken student seats away from Football and Baseball and has raised prices for students and the amount has now doubled in the past three years. It is all over the Daily Reveille and is being actively sought out to change for certain in the student body. One thing you will realize, when enough people want positive action, it will be done. Knowing how is the key. LSU students more than wanted to fill those seats. But you were clearly in the dark as to why it APPEARED that the students "just did not care" ...

Why don't you scroll back up Mr. Red and reread how you responded to what I said and then I defended myself. Lack of information is the biggest thing hurting LSU Sports. LSUsports.net sugarcoats everything and so it leaves fans in the dark. Example-Why Alley Broussard was highly touted and now not even slated as a backup.

When we unite, we can focus on the end goal.

Mr. Red.---You originally responded with this and is why we are having this conversation.....
Hooray! An anonymous internet character with 13 posts has made us a promise. Sure, pal, we believe every word. And can you hurry it up?

You were a complete smart aleck. Regardless of my "LSUforum credibility" I feel it is a jerk move to say that to an LSU fan. For someone that obviously has that much "cred" on this site, you sure aren't bringing unity as a forefront for us winning a Nat'l Championship. I realize that your end want is the same as mine, but taking your little shot at me was a joke. You mentioned that here you do not know me. Would I want to know you after this performance?

Lesismore....I'm thinking you don't get the very idea behind an internet forum. In the time I have been on this board I really have not seen needless bickering until now. And it has come from your direction. Your posts clearly indicate anger at several existing situations about LSU sports, but also a decidedly neurotic personality in your responses to legitimate doubt as to your veracity. Your opinions are certainly valid to claim as your own, but they are just opinions, not fact, and can be challenged. If your skin is too thin to accept doubters, public, anonymous, forums may not be for you.

And no, the number of posts do not denote or deny intelligence, but quite simply you are an unknown quantity and the very nature of the web and forums, means it is filled with BS artists. This forum tends to weed them out rather quickly and they seek other pastures. You present yourself as someone deeply embedded in the inner workings of LSU athletics with your hand on the wheel of change. Whether you are that person or not, is not relevant to the treatment you feel you are getting now. Since this is an anonymous board, there is no reason for anyone to believe a complete unknown quantity such as yourself. Not until your word proves out, or you have spent time here, thus proving your claims of imminent change are not a rival fan stirring the pot.

The fact that you seem ignorant of this and took such great offense at Red's rather lenient comments, proves that you have little or no experience on this or any board. I can think of at least 10 boards where you would have been outright attacked for your comments and your attitude.

Cheer up man, pull up a chair and join the discussion. The people here are really pleasant, well-informed, and passionate about LSU, as you yourself seem to be. But if you blow on to the scene as if you are "the man", and then get offended when people cast even a hint of doubt your way, you will be met with continued skepticism.

At this point I have no more room to argue this pointless conversation. Have a great day.

It's Dr. Red to you, Junior. Did you see the "Hi-hi" face? :hihi: It was a cynical remark--a joke. You make way too much of this and have no sense of humor. You were being pompous and you got razzed for it. I'd do the same thing if tirk or SF said something like that and they have over 10,000 posts. Lighten up.

 Grow some nads, will you? You're starting to learn something about TF. There are some serious smart-asses here! If you are going to post comments that are controversial, negative, and pompous, someone is going to challenge you on it quickly. But no one is going to censor you. Unity is not what it is about here. This is a forum for discussion and it requires a variety of opinions to work. Any opinion is subject to a response.

Strike one, pal. I lobbed you a softball and you whiffed it. Now, don't be so damn sensitive and try to explain what you mean about your promise to right the wrongs at LSU.

then you are off to a great start.

oh, the horror. i would love to have any kind of ticket. i'll take a paper one.

a bit contradictory. would not attend is in direct conflict to wanted to attend.

well, as "mr. in the know" (or ms. in the know) you should know that getting information from coach miles is probably even more difficult than getting a dollar from skip bertman.

well, at least now i know who to blame!!!
